CatX AVP Tx8
CatX AVP Tx8 transmitters provide a flexible solution for transmitting either VGA video + power or Audio + VGA video over Cat5/6 UTP cable up to 300m.
This transmitter has two banks of four outputs. Each bank can be independently configured for either AV or VP mode.
Select either VP mode (Video & power) or AV mode (Audio and Video) on all RJ45 outputs.
An external power supply is required for the AVP Tx8 to operate.
Multiple CatX AVP Transmitter units can be daisy chained together to increase the number of Cat5/6 outputs from a single source.
The CatX AV Rx2 (up to 150m) and the CatXQ AV Rx2 (up to 300m) receivers can be used with this transmitter and daisy chained up to 2000m.
All CatX AVP transmitters are video compatible with CatX Mini AV and VP receivers.

The AVP range of VGA extenders will be launched at ISE 2009. Designed to offer complete flexibility for Digital Signage applications, The range includes Receivers with a built in Cascade facility that allows Displays to be placed up to 2000 metres from the VGA source (a total span of 4000 metres).
Transmitter units can be configured to output either Audio & Video or Video & Power, hence the designation AVP. The units are also compatible with the CaTX Mini AV and VP range.
The CatX AVP range is also capable of displaying VGA resolutions up to 2048 x 1536.
