CatX Expander 8
CatX Expander 8 has a single Cat5/6 input and×eight Cat5/6 outputs and may be used in any part of a CatX Cat5/6 VGA distribution network.
This means the unit can be placed at any convenient location, making good use of existing structured cable installations.
CatX expander 8 is compatible with any of the CatX Tx (transmitter) units and CatX Rx (receiver) units.
Features
SVGA Output up to 1600 x 1200
Compatible with all VGA standards, CatX Expander 8 may be used with any CatX Video transmitter and receiver units providing high quality distributed video using cat5/6 cabling.
Power supply
CatX Expander 8 requires a 12V Dc power supply.
Transmits VGA and Audio output
Useful as part of many Digital signage applications.
Simple to install and easy to use
All CatX units can be installed quickly and easily. The controls are all on the receiver units, so adjustments can be made whilst viewing the remote display.
Compact and lightweight
All CatX units have been styled with metal casing, yet designed to be compact and lightweight. As such they can be easily fitted and secured in environments with limited space.

The unit may be placed in any part of a Cat5/6 VGA distribution system where the overall distance between the source Tx (transmitter) unit and furthest CatXQ Rx unit does not exceeed 300m
