CatXQ Video Rx

CatXQ Video Rx is a video + audio receiver unit, used in conjunction with CatX Video Transmitter units. CatXQ Video Rx provides high quality video for distances up to 300m.

The unit incorporates XSQ™ technology to eliminate the effects of skew, especially when using Cat5e/6 cable up to 300m.

The CatXQ Video Rx is designed to output audio and VGA to any display, such as a Plasma, CRT, LCD or TFT

XSQ technology

Integrated skew correction technology, eliminates the skew effect caused by Cat5e/6 cables in aprticular over longer distances.

Single Power Supply

The CATXQ Video Rx requires a single 12V mains adapter in order to operate. This must be attached to the receiver (Rx) unit.

SVGA Output up to×1280 x×1024 72Hz at 300 metres

All CatXQ units are designed to output SVGA at 1024 x 768 at maximum distance; however higher resolutions may be achievable at shorter distances.

Compact and lightweight

All CatX units have been styled with metal casing, yet designed to be compact and lightweight. As such they can be easily fitted and secured in environments with limited space.

Simple to install and easy to use

All CatX units can be installed quickly and easily. The controls are all on the receiver units, so adjustments can be made whilst viewing the remote display.

Cost effective solution

CatX receiver (Rx) units can be selected for either 120m or 300m of Cat5/6 cable range. By selecting the best Rx unit for your requirements, you will always have the most cost effective solution.

High quality video at all distances

With only a single “distance compensation control”, together with S and Q skew correction controls, best quality video output is ensured for all distances to 300m. Sharp, Skew free images can be displayed, using Cat5/5e/6 cabel at extended distances.
