CatX Video Lite is the perfect solution for PIDs (Public Information Displays) in Airports, Railway Stations, Bus Stations, basically anywhere where quality video information is required to be displayed remotely.
Using Cat5/6 as a transport medium, CatX Video Lite can save both space and money whilst increasing security to a much higher level, as the video source is no longer in the same location as the display.
Using a standard VGA 15 pin connector any of the currently available display medium, be it Plasma, LCD or CRT can be used in conjunction with CatX Video Lite.

Transmits SVGA video up to 120m
The CatX Video Lite is specifically designed to transmit the video + audio signal from a PC to any VGA video display unit, such as a plasma screen, up to a distance of 120m.
Single mains connection
The CatX Video Lite requires only a single 12V mains adapter in order to operate. This may be attached to either the transmitter (Tx) unit or the receiver (Rx) unit, providing even more installation flexibility.
SVGA output up to 1600 x 1200 72Hz at maximum distance
Designed to provide a sharp high quality video at up to 120m, the unit performs best using low cost Cat5 cabling. Higher resolutions are achievable at shorter distances.
Simple to install and easy to use
All CatX units can be installed quickly and easily. With only a single “distance compensation control” on the Video Lite receiver unit, adjustments can be simply made whilst viewing the remote display. No switch settings or complicated set up procedure is required.
Compact and lightweight
All CatX units have been styled with metal casing, yet designed to be compact and lightweight. As such they can be easily fitted and secured in environments with limited space.

How do I improve the quality of the image output fom a CatX/ Video only extender?
All CatX/ Video only extender products are designed for the best possible video quality. The video signal will degrade as the length of CAT5/5e/6 cable increases, but each externder unit has a manual adjustment to compensate for this. All the units are designed to display a video resolution of 1280x1024 @75Hz at their maximum operating distance. Higher video resolutions may be acheivable, particularly at shorter distances.
