KVM using WAN or LAN
The PC Switch range of KVM over WAN or LAN products allows the control of one or more computers from a remote location using TCP/ IP networks or direct-modem connection.
KVM_IP
KVM_IP is a KVM over WAN/ LAN extender. It allows the remote administration of any PC/ Server attached to a KVM Switch. In conjunction with either our own KVM Switches or an existing KVM Switch from another manufacturer, the KVM_IP is a plug and play administrative tool designed with security in mind. 128 bit encryption, SSL secure log in, limited log on failures, time out settings, the list goes on an on. No longer do you have to fly and drive all those thousands of miles to do routine maintenance on your server cluster.
Available from SYRetail.co.uk for £358.00 (ex. VAT).
KVM_IP Lite
KVM_IP Lite is the ultimate single server solution for all your remote access problems. It enables a complete reboot of the server even if it's locked up. Imagine, your server being 2,3, 400 or more miles away and you loose control of everything. What else is there to do, you have to go out there and restart it, and invariably all it needs is a reboot. With KVM_IP Lite you can do this without even having to leave your office. Just imagine the money you could save on, not only travel expenses but on down time of the server. KVM_IP Lite replaces the existing video card within your server and using cat5/ 6 cable, can be implemented into your existing network environment.
Available from SYRetail.co.uk for £435.00 (ex. VAT).
Keyboard Mouse Emulator (KME)
The KME is a keyboard and mouse emulator and extender. It emulates the keyboard and mouse so that they are no longer required in the server room after KVM_IP Lite has been installed. The bios management is now lead to believe that they are attached and the server can be booted remotely at any time using KVM_IP Lite. This reduces therefore the amount of unnecessary peripherals inside a server environment. However in the case of an emergency a keyboard and mouse can still be attached.
